PE in Year 2
PE will be on Monday morning/afternoon and Thursday mornings.
Please ensure that indoor and outdoor PE kits are in school all the time. Trainers are more suitable for outdoor PE. Children will be outside (weather permitting) this term so please ensure they have outdoor kit with them.
Sometimes PE days will need to change due to the weather or due to other school commitments.
What is happening in class this week?
We will be looking at stories from Australia and creating holiday brochures. If you have any spare holiday brochures or know any stories please bring them in.
We will not be having weekly spelling tests this half term. We will look at the common exception words and children may be tested, in one or two activities, whilst we are looking at writing evidence for children.
We had great fun making and designing cakes, a wedding dress, crowns, Windsor Castle and even hair for Harry and Meghan's wedding in May
Your child could use this look, cover, write check sheet to practise their spellings. If you would like a paper copy please ask in school.
